The Going Global Defense Initiative helps Virginia's defense companies diversify into new international markets.

The Going Global Defense Initiative mitigates the impact of defense spending cuts on Virginia’s economy. Between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015, funding is available to help Virginia’s defense-related companies diversify into new international markets. As a part of this initiative, eligible defense-related companies can receive assistance with strategy, compliance, matchmaking, translation, contracts, and more. Click here to learn how to participate.

Opportunities in the Northern Triangle: Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador

Attend VEDP’s latest Export Training Seminar to learn how the governments of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador are looking to develop public-private partnerships with Virginia companies. Representation from SOUTHCOM and from the Northern Triangle will discuss how Virginia companies can pursue opportunities in this region.
