VALET Program Manager | Central Region
Holly Pearce is a VALET Program Manager at VEDP serving companies in the Western, Central, Southwest, and Hampton Roads regions. Previously, Holly served as an International Trade Manager for the Central Virginia region. She joined the team at VEDP in February 2016 with 16 years of supply chain management experience, primarily in global markets. Her roles with consumer products, service, and entertainment companies provide a well-rounded knowledge about many issues that importers and exporters may face, including: international logistics; customs compliance; documentation; and finance options. Her private sector experience with international markets focused on Asia Pacific, Latin and South America, and Western Europe. Holly’s network is diverse, and she is quick to connect people with the right contacts to facilitate success.
Holly was an active member of the Virginia Maritime Association – Cargo Owners’ Committee for four years, and was instrumental in creating the Central Virginia chapter of that organization. She served on the American Shipper Editorial Board and has spoken at numerous local and national conferences on world trade and supply chain. Holly has also participated as a client in the VALET program, which lends her a unique, “behind the scenes” perspective which current and potential VALET participants value.
Most recently, Holly has partnered with the Greater Richmond Partnership, Virginia’s Gateway Region, and VCU to roll out and facilitate the Metro Richmond Exports Initiative. This program was created to help increase awareness of exporting opportunities, provide introduction to basic export principles through Exporting 101, and to market regional success stories.
Holly is passionate about the Commonwealth, especially her home base of Richmond, VA. Feel free to contact her for tips on where to eat, drink, and be entertained in RVA.
